Prognosticators Tournament Game 1 (Georgetown) Predictions

Reminder that you MUST have qualified by scoring at least a point during the regular season. If you do not know if you qualify, please check the Tournament Qualifiers thread, thanks in advance.

UConn Huskies 96 - Georgetown Hoyas 54 MOV-42

That is why I don't gamble. I didn't think there was anyway Georgetown would beat Providence.....and by 12.

Still shaking my head.......UConn 92 - Georgetown 38

UCONN 85 HOYAS 45 MOV 40
Geno rests some players after the Defense and
Offense get some " rust " out. Georgetown is playing
better than they were when we first played them and UCONN only has
to confirm their superiority to the Committee.
Cheers! Go Huskies!

So... let's recap. UCONN beat them by 51 about 10 days ago. With no Paige. And with Azzi shooting 1-7 from 3, 5-13 overall. don't think that happens again.

So Paige back, Azzi in a better shooting rhythym... could we win by more than 60? Will we break the century mark?

The only way we get into a scoring funk and score in the 80's IMHO is if he subs with a group that does not mesh well. I'm not sure what that group is - but as Paige gets more acclimated, we may begin to see more groups on the court who mesh better, regardless. Will be interesting to see how Geno does it.

UCONN 102
Georgetown 41

UConn wins 87-42. UConn will start the game and appear about to lay 100+ points on Georgetown. With multiple players with foot, ankle, and other injuries, uncharacteristically, Geno takes the foot off the accelerator and puts in subs in Q3.

UCONN 97
G-town 41
MOV: 56

Thinking Marquette will be next on Sunday...
