For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. UConn 36-3 plays 35-3 #1 Seed USC in the National Championship Game Tampa, FL after the Gamecocks trounced Texas 74-57 in the first Final Four matchup. South Carolina is not going to be an easy win with them wanting revenge on their 87-58 loss in Columbia against the Huskies on 2/16, being one of South Carolina 3 losses of the regular season. Dawn and Geno matchups is today’s version of Pat and Geno rivalry back in the early years of UConn’s historical run of not only Final Fours but also Championship games. This game should be close and hopefully become an instant classic with Paige, Aubrey, and Kaitlyn walking off into the sunset with Championship #12 trophy. This will be the 16th all time meeting between the two teams with UConn having a 10-5 edge, with the series going 5-5 over the last 10 games. If Paige and the Huskies can play the game close to like they did back in February that should be enough for them to pick up #12 for Geno and CD and the first since Stewie’s Senior season. This will be the second time that the two teams have met for the National Championship, the first was on 4/3/22 in Minneapolis, MN. South Carolina won 64-49, with Paige being the only player scoring in double figures.

All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 2:45 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.

• The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or USC/Gamecocks. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.
• If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions, you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
• If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
• This game should be close, I believe that UConn will play the core 8 players and everyone will do their best to give Paige a National Championship. Huskies 84 – Gamecocks 74.
