For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.

Syracuse slips by #11 seed Arizona 74-69 and is UConn’s second round opponent. The Orange had a 23-7 regular season with a 13-5 ACC record and lost their first game in the ACC tournament against Florida St 65-78. Their best win was both games against #9 Massey rated Notre Dame 79-65 & 86-81. Their best non-conference win was against Iowa State, Massey rated #24 81-69. While their worst loss was against Florida State as stated above, Massey rated #33. They are rated by Massey #30, with an SOS is #42, an offense rated 42nd and defense rated 33rd. They averaged 70.8 points, while allowing 68.3 points. Average 39.9 rebounds, 11.9 assists, 9.33 steals, 4.2 blocks and 16.4 turnovers a game. Shooting 39.6%, 74.5% in free throw shooting and only 31.5% in 3pt shooting accuracy.

Their starters for the AAC Tournament were Alyssa Latham F, 6’2” FR, 27.2 mins, 8.7 pts, 7.1 rbds, 1.3 blks, 1.1 stls and 0.6 asts. Kyra Wood F, 6’3” JR, 21 mins, 6.3 pts, 6.7 rbds, 0.5 asts 0.7 stls, 0.7 blks and 1.1 t/o’s. Georgia Woolley G, 6’ JR, 33.9 mins, 13.9 pts, 4.7 rbds, 3 asts, 1.9 stls and 3.4 T/O’s. • All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 15 minutes prior to the scheduled tip off. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.
  • The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Syracuse/Orange. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.
  • If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions, you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
  • If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
  • I believe that UConn will be able to win this game, especially if they play like they did in the last two Big East tournament games, but it won’t be a cake walk. UConn 82Syracuse 70.
Attached is a copy of the Prognosticator's Predictions Rules and Scoring System – Tournament criteria, please read it so that you are familiar with the game rules. Good Luck to all you Prognosticator's out there and have some fun. Take note that due to there being no schedule tip off time it will be up to the participants to make sure they submit their prediction on time.
