For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.
UConn plays their 33rd game of the season against the Creighton Bluejays at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville. This will be the third meeting this season with UConn with UConn winning 95-54 in Omaha and 94-44 at Gampel. This is the 15th matchup between the two schools with UConn winning the first 14. The Bluejays are currently 16-14, 11-9 in Conference play and 4-1 since their loss at Gampel on 2/11. Their loss was vs Villanova 64-74, while their wins were at Butler 67-58, vs Providence 69-49 at Xavier 73-71 and their Quarterfinal win against Marquette 57-44. The Huskies played their Quarter Finals game and have shaken off any rust from the teams 5 day lay with the trouncing of Georgetown 84-39. UConn is on a mission to keep their BE Tournament undefeated streak since rejoining the league and the Bluejays are just another steppingstone to that mission.
All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 2:15 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted. The game is on Peacock.
The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Creighton/Bluejays. No "85-55 the good guys", if there isn't a winning team stated in the prognostication it will not be counted. Once your prediction is posted If you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post, NO changing of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the scheduled closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed. If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
I hope that Sarah plays, and I believe that UConn will limit the Bluejays’ scoring and this game will not be close. UConn will play all available players, and everyone will score. Huskies 80 – Bluejays 42.
