This is a home away from home game for the Huskies, everyone except the Freshman have played at least once in this arena and it's court. This is the last of three games at the Mohegan Sun presenting the Hall of Fame Women's Showcase. The first game is UCLA vs Florida State, second game is Utah vs South Carolina. With the games playing at the Mohegan there should be plenty of UConn fans there so it should feel more like a home game than a neutral court game. North Carolina is a ranked team #24 in both polls, but they are #42 by Massey, while UConn is #17 in both polls, but #10 by Massey. UConn is rated #1 in SoS and has played four ranked teams according Massey, while North Carolina is #52 and has played only two ranked teams. The Huskies seemed to have played better against Ball State for most of the game and started two Freshman along with AE, Paige, and Nika and had the best first quarter of the year with 37 points, 11 points better than they scored against Dayton in their first game of the season. North Carolina has 3 losses just like UConn, two of their losses were on a neutral court against Kansas State and FGCU, Massey ranked #17 and #67 respectively. The third loss was at home against #1 South Carolina. In their last game at home on 12/6 they beat UNC-Greensboro 81-66, Massey has them ranked #232. The worst Massey ranked team that UConn has played is Dayton and UConn won by 44.

- If prior to closing you wish to change your prediction you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
- If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
- I see a close game either way, but I believe that the Huskies will prevail. UConn 72 - North Carolina 62.
