Well the young ladies left for Seattle and will have a few days out West before the game. Surprised that UConn and Ohio State have the early game on Saturday 1:00 PM Pacific, with VA Tech and Tennessee game having the late game 3:30 PM Pacific. UConn has a better record vs the same teams as Ohio State and all of them were without a major player being able to play. Both teams beat Tennessee, Ohio State 87-75, at home with a full team and UConn 84-67, at TN without Azzi and only 7 deep. UConn beat Iowa, while Iowa beat OSU twice, both teams lost to Maryland, UConn was without Dorka, Azzi, and Nika lost by 7.
UConn is a different team then they were in their losses, they are a team that can press and run, they can be physical and control the paint. They have both an inside and outside game, play tenacious defense and force a lot of turnovers. I don't think that tOSU will be able to keep up with the Huskies for a full 40 minutes. Azzi, Lou, and Caroline will drain the three's, while Aaliyah, Dorka, and Aubrey will control down low in the paint both on offense and defense. While Nika will lead the offense and be the Tasmanian devil on defense. UConn 84 - Ohio State 70.
