For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.
UConn plays their 27th game of the season against South Carolina in the Colonial Life Arena. Currently the Gamecocks are 22-2, 10-1 in conference play with their 25th game today at 7:00 PM Eastern against Florida currently 12-12, 3-7 in conference play. So, unless SC has a major meltdown, they will be 23-2, 11-1 when the two teams meet. UConn can win this game if Sarah gets over the Freshman slump and the rest of the team plays like they did against St. John’s. I see Geno going only 8 deep in this game, the starters are Sarah, Jana, Kaitlyn, Azzi and Paige. While Aubrey, Ashlynn and KK come off the bench. In the Massey ratings South Carolina is rated # 5 in offense and #1 in defense while UConn is # 8 and #2 respectively and has the Gamecocks with a 71% chance of winning with a score of 71-63. The starting five needs to play smart and hard with little or no fouling and hit their shots and they have a good chance of winning. Everyone, including the ones off the bench, needs to limit turnovers and the silly mistakes and they can pull out the upset.
All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 12:45 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.

- The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or South Carolina/Gamecocks. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.
- If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions, you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
- If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
- This game won’t be close, I believe that UConn will play all available players and everyone will score. UConn 75 – South Carolina 71.
