For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.
UConn plays their 22nd game of the season at Gampel against Xavier a team that they destroyed 104-39 back on 11/30/25 in Cincinnati. Xavier is 10-10 and 3-8 in the Big East with their best win so far this season was a 52-51 win at Georgetown. The Hoyas won the rematch at Xavier 52-65. UConn just recently handed the Hoyas an 83-42 drumming while playing one of their worst games of the season. This game will be over by the end of the first quarter and should have the bench playing for much of the 3rd and the entire 4th quarters. I see Geno trying to give the starters some rest before their game against archrival Tennessee on Sunday.
All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 7:45 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted. The game is on Peacock.
The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Xavier/Musketeers. No "85-55 the good guys", if there isn't a winning team stated in the prognostication it will not be counted. Once your prediction is posted If you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post, NO changing of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the scheduled closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed. If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
I believe that UConn will limit Xaviers offense with their pressing defense and this game won’t be close. UConn will play all available players, and everyone will score. Huskies 95 – Musketeers 35.
