For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.
UConn plays their 21st game of the season on the road against Seton Hall on 1/25/26 at Noon ET. UConn beat Seton Hall 84-48 on January 3rd in Hartford. UConn currently has a 42-game winning streak and is 56-1 against the Pirates, their only loss was a 53-74 thumping in Newark on 1/5/94. Seton Hall is 14-5, 8-2 in conference play, tied for second with Villanova. The Pirates are currently on a 4-game winning streak with wins at Providence 58-48, vs Marquette 64-61, at DePaul 86-77 and vs Providence 73-57. UConn will end their streak and will continue to extend their winning streak in Walsh Gym and will still be undefeated when the final buzzer sounds.
All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 11:45 AM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted. The game is on Peacock.
The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Seton Hall/Pirates. No "85-55 the good guys", if there isn't a winning team stated in the prognostication it will not be counted. Once your prediction is posted If you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post, NO changing of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the scheduled closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed. If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
I believe that UConn will limit the Pirates in scoring and the game won’t be close. Massey has UConn winning 82-53, I believe that he is giving the Pirates too much. UConn 93 – Seton Hall 47.
