For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.
UConn plays their 20th game of the season and second of the home and home against the Villanova Wildcats, winning the first one on the road in Finneran Pavilion 83-52. UConn outplayed them from the beginning and won every quarter, even though Jana and Kaitlyn were the only starters that played in the 4th quarter. UConn is 45-7 in the series and will be 46-7 after this one is over. Nova is currently 10-9 and 4-3 in conference play. Their conference wins are 71-57 vs St. John’s, 77-62 at Georgetown, 66-55 vs DePaul and 66-64 at St. John’s. Their losses were 56-55 vs Seton Hall, UConn and 64-59 at Marquette. They’re rated #63 with a SoS 20 by Massey with their best win against #55 Texas A&M 65-57, on a neutral court and their worst loss was at #94 Fairfield 74-71. In the recent win at St. John’s the only reason they won is because they shot 50% from 3 hitting 11-22, while St. John’s only shot 5-15. Those extra 6 points won it for them. If the Huskies play like they did against Seton Hall, the game will be won by halftime and the bench will play more in the second half.
All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 6:45 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.

- This game will be no closer than the first match-up. UConn should be able to play everyone that can play and everyone should score. UConn 88 – Villanova 55.
