Uconn 75
Texas- 61
Texas- 61
Maryland team consists of 2 players, one of which is injured. They didn't pull away until the Cardoso scuffle. I was actually quite surprised to see MD hold them until then. SC has very little outside shot. I thi k they are beatable. Yep, there inside is quite formidable, but they are not invincible. How good is the opposing team’s defense, and how formidable is their front court? If Texas dominates the boards: lights out!
I just watched the South Carolina game. YIKES!!!!
How about a summary of the game afterwards from YOUR perspective. It's always nice to get an account from someone that was there. Folks attending the game get a much different view of the game than those of us looking at it through a camera lens.Uconn 79-61 and the headlines blare They Are Back!!!! Going to be sitting 10 rows behind our amazing women and I'm planning on thoroughly enjoying this game. Expect some massive overdefending on Azzi and at least 5 of our players in double digits. In fact, I think that will be a reoccurring theme all year-we have too many offensive weapons and great passers. Go Huskies!!
I will go with the first posted score, if you want to have the second you must submit a change as per the rules attached to my original post.UConn 74-Texas 67 with Harmon.
UConn 82-Texas 61 without Harmon.
Talk about Huskie defense! We can do that! As Geno says " execute" ( on defense andUCONN 88-52
UConn 85 - Texas 76Well that was fun watching the season opener, now on with the tough ones. First up is #3 Texas at Gampel Pavilion, who is playing their first game today at home against the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns, when I was stationed at Fort Polk they were known as Louisiana-Lafayette, but the Ragin Cajuns stayed. Texas should have very little problems with the Ragin Cajuns who only have 3 player over 6 feet, while the Longhorns have 9 players. I will be watching today's game on the Longhorn Network to see how they play against the Ragin Cajuns and what challenges they may bring to Gampel and against UConn. With all that being said, I will predict, for now, a win by the Huskies. UConn 88 - Texas 75. All predictions must be in by 6:25 P.M. Eastern, must have the name of the winner posted in the prognostication, i.e. UConn or Texas. Any changes to a prediction must state that it replaces the original prognostication and must also state the winning team. Attached is the Prognosticator's Predictions Rules and Scoring System. Good Luck to all you Prognosticator's out there, have fun.
