For the SHU coaching staff, it's not about winning the game, but rather about his team executing a game plan for the full 40 minutes, which they did not do in their loss to Marquette. They need their smaller, experienced team to play with discipline going forward in order to defeat the rest of the Big East teams and secure a post-season (re: NIT) bid. Hence, I think they will be content to play "slow down" the entire game, even when behind by a lot.
