For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. UConn plays their 16th game of the season against Xavier Musketeers, the lowest Massey rated team in the Big East at #243 in the XL Center. This is the 8th game of the series with UConn being 7-0 against Xavier. The biggest blowout on 2/18/22 with an 89-35 win while the closest game on 2/27/23 with a 60-51 win. This their only scheduled meeting this season and is listed as a 100% UConn win according to Massey with a score of 87-36. Xavier has 4 players that are 6’2” or taller. They have 12 international players and 2 players from the US, something that I thought only USF did. They average 56.5 points a game while surrendering 63.9 points. They are currently 5-9, their best win against Massey rated #167 Fordham. Xaiver is currently 0-3 in Big East play, losing against Creighton 85-54, at Georgetown 64-41 and against DePaul 65-61. This game should be a cakewalk for the Huskies at the sold-out XL Center and more time for Geno to experiment with the line ups. After three BE games Xavier averages 51.67 points per game while giving up 70.33 points per game. UConn is averaging 74.33 points per game while giving up only 44.33 points per game. It is unknown if Paige will play or not, so I’m predicting the score without her playing, the score could change if Paige is playing.

• If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions, you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
• If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
• This game won’t be close, even if Paige sits out, next Player Up, UConn 88 – Xavier 38.
