For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.

UConn plays their 10th game of the season and the first Big East Conference game. This will be the rematch of last year’s Big East Championship game. Georgetown was the surprise team of the tournament, but the Huskies had no problems in winning their 4th straight Big East Tournament and their 22nd overall with a 78-42 win. The Hoyas are currently 6-4 with UConn being their first ranked opponent. Their best win so far this season is at Richmond 55-53, Massey rated #50. All their losses were against teams that were rated higher by Massey. They also beat Boston University on the road 69-61, a team that UConn demolished 86-32. Coach Haney is now the official head coach after Georgetown went 22-11 with their best record since 2010-11 season. The higher ups dropped the word Interim from his title on 3/20/24.

This game will be the fifty-third time that UConn has played Georgetown, and has a 50-2 record, with their first win on 01/5/88 75-74 tying the smallest MOV. UConn’s largest MOV was a 107-45 win at Gampel on 01/02/01. The Hoyas have won two games in the series. The first was a 65-60 loss at Georgetown on 01/03/92 and the second was a 64-62 loss at Gampel on 02/27/03.

All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 1:15 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.

• The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Georgetown/Hoyas. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.
• If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions, you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
• If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
• This game won’t be close, I believe that UConn will be a little PO’d after the ND loss and take it out on the Hoyas. UConn plays defense with no mercy and everyone that plays scores. UConn 105 – Hoyas 45.
