I remarked during the exhibition game to the people I was with that UConn was giving up too many open 3-point shots and that it was a good thing Kutztown was missing most of them. UConn will definitely need to defend the arc better against a hot shooting team. (I don't think Northeastern is that team.)

Northeastern Huskies a member of Colonial Athletic Association who went 14-18 last year under first year coach Bridgette Mitchell is fresh off their 66-65 win against Boston University. They have four player's over 6 feet, with the tallest being a Freshman at 6'-3". Over the summer they added Derin Erdogan a 5'-6" transfer who played the previous 2 years at Arizona. The Northeastern Huskies want to run and gun, play in your face defense, but I don't think that they have the guns or the speed needed to stay with UConn Huskies. This one will not be like it was against Kutztown St, but it will still be a win of more than 30 points. UConn 92 - Northeastern 48.
