Finally the 2023/24 Women's basketball season is upon us. The first of many victims is the Dayton Flyer's, who went 7-21 last year in the Atlantic Conference and is rated #121 by Massey. They only played one similar foe and that was a loss to the Providence Friars losing 69-60. While UConn won the first game at Gampel with 9 player's getting double digit minutes and were without Dorka, 98-53. UConn won the second game with a tired and depleted roster at Providence 65-54, with five of the nine players scoring a total of 5 points with Ayanna playing 9 minutes while scoring only a point before getting hurt and Aaliyah only playing 26 minutes and scoring only 4 points. With the players that UConn has that didn't play last year vs the players that Dayton has that didn't play last year, this game should be a rout with the Huskies winning by more than 50+ points. So with all that said I see the final score being UConn 108 - Dayton 50.
All prognostications and any changes must be submitted 15 minutes before scheduled tip-off of 7:00 P.M. Eastern. The winning team, either UConn/Huskies or Dayton/Flyers must be identified with the score, no us or them.
