I think this is a game that could catch UConn unawares, for two reasons. First, Uconn is coming off a long exam break. Will they be focused? Second, OK seems to have righted the ship.

Prediction: UCOnn 78, OK 62

The Sooners play an up tempo game just like the Huskies, so this will be a high scoring affair. Unfortunately, the UConn players will be sky high to secure Geno & CD’s 1000th win, and OK is just not in UConn!s class.

Huskies win 96 - 71

UConn 79 OU 55. Team starts out slow as the pressure to win Geno's 1000th will show itself. Team has too much talent not to right the ship and pull away from OU.

Uconn 112 Okla 71 For my Sooners I would hope it would be closer, even with the new kidz in for the full 4th qtr
I don't think Geno can restrain his kids enough to stay under 100. 62 14 at the half.

Come on Sherri--make this a game to remember.

Results won’t be posted until Wednesday afternoon as I will be at the game celebrating win 1,000. UConn 94-59

The team will shrink from the enormity of the game. Oklahoma will step up to the challenge Uconn is 8-1 in its last nine games. They don't want to fall to 8-2 but Oklahoma lies ahead like a 20 foot wall. Uconn's grit and determination will break open a close game and give Geno his 1,000th win.

UConn wins 98 - 57 with a loud and noisy crowd cheering for more all the way. Not much doubt but the holiday spirit will be enhanced

Not hard to predict the winner, but pretty hard to get a handle on Oklahoma.

Beaten early in the year by 3-7 Little Rock, but last time out destroyed a previously unbeaten New Mexico team. Noteworthy that New Mexico center was out (first game she missed), rest of the NM lineup is small, and New Mexico was outrebounded 60-32.

Oklahoma capable of scoring a lot (five players averaging at least 11.9 ppg) and has given up a lot on occasion.

UConn will be healthy, rested, and pumped.

So, magically putting it all together, I predict UConn 101-66.
