Prognosticators Game 3 (USF) Predictions

Much better defense than the 1st game and even with Paige only scoring 8 points UConn wins by 30 over Minnesota. Now the ladies play USF and Geno has Jose's number and I don't see it changing this year. While UConn was in the AAC the closest game USF loss was 10 points, that was the road game that KLS sat out because of her back. USF is ranked but I don't see them coming closer than 20 points. With that said I predict the final score will be UConn 92 - USF 58. All predictions must be in by stated game time which has not been announced or posted on ESPN. Game time will be added once known. UCONN is not a good matchup for USF. Traditionally, even when ranked in the top 25, we blow them out.

Having said that, I think they are better than Minny but not as good as Arkansas. USF gave Tennessee all they could handle - leading late into the game before wilting under Tennessee's defensive pressure. I'd say we win by about 20-25. But they rely a lot on the 3 and unless it's falling, this could be a 30+ point blowout like many are predicting. I hope they are right!

The wild card in my thoughts is the fact that we are early in the season and improving more rapidly than later in the season. So even if logically the MOV should be 25, maybe our defense is that much better than game 1 (I see lots of people predicting 30+ point wins).
