Prognosticators Game 20 (Creighton) Predictions

Well the defense was clicking on all cylinders against Xavier and the offense wasn't half bad even though Paige had tied her second worst game in her short career at UConn. It seems sooooo many people are worried about Creighton because of their upset of DePaul, Geno will have the team ready and will make sure they aren't overlooking them. UConn is on a mission and will not have any problems with Creighton. This team has drastically improved since last Creighton meeting on 12/17, both on offense and defense, so the final score will be much different from that 80 to 47 win at Gampel. With the starting five of Nika, Paige, Evina, CW, and Liv UConn will get out to a quick start, AE will be the first off the bench, followed by AG. Past the main 7 I see Saylor, Mir, and Paith getting 5 to 10 minutes playing time and hopefully Autumn gets some playing time at the end. UConn 95 - Creighton 43. Paige stays stuck in 2nd gear, ends game with modest (for her) numbers. AG has breakout game, with AE following along. Liv settles in, shows consistency, impact.

After two good games, CW drops in a clunker. Evina scores a bit more than usual. Mir surprises with positive impact early in game. NM in funk first half, comes out of it 2nd half.

Troubles early on, but Huskies pull away big in 2nd half. 82-52.
