Prognosticators Game 14 (Marquette) Predictions

I think this will be a closer game then many are predicting. Marquette has size and are a good rebounding team. They also have a good coach in Megan Duffy and she'll have her team ready to play.

UConn 75 Marquette 68

Uconn 94
Marquette 62

Marquette - 40.7 Rebounds per game; Holds opponents to 30.3 rebounds per game
UConn - 41.8 Rebounds per game; Holds opponents to 30.0 rebounds per game.

SLIGHT ADVANTAGE - UCONN

Too many injuries. Marquette is just too good.

Golden Eagles 77-72

UConn 87-66. Aubrey should play, CW will likely get limited minutes. Would sure love to see Anna get a few reintroduction minutes before SC game.

Tune-up for the most important regular season game gives the team a lot of confidence as UConn wins 94 - 69.

Not sure what to make of Marquette. On paper, W-L wise, they look pretty good. They are in 2nd place in the Big East and boast a win over Villanova. But they have not played DePaul or UCONN yet, and their 2 losses were against Milwaukee. Yikes! And they lost to Seton Hall.

They beat SJU twice - by 4 and by 11. They recently beat Creighton by 13, and Georgetown only by 7. If you just look at the record, they are pretty decent, but I don't think this game will be close. I'll be disappointed if we don't win going away by 25+.

UCONN 86
Marquette 60

UCONN 99 - Marq 55; 44 pt MOV for those who like more of the same (numbers); Plenty of time for 4 (or more) Freshmen on the floor for UCONN.... Bueckers & Edwards ROCK with the pick & roll!!!!! {replaces ROCK, paper, scissors for all-time favorite games....}

Hey Eric...we are on the same page...I have UConn by 24

For the first time this year the team is in a rhythm and playing frequently. This shows itself with a 25 point win. No looking ahead to SC here.

92-67 UConn.
