In limited participation TomCat was closest to MOV with 44 vs 45 and eembg nailed FHS score. Like the game itself there were not many who distinguished themselves. Going forward I propose the following scoring system during regular season.

Exact score=5 points
Exact MOV=4 points
Score within 1 point=3 points
MOV within 1=2 point
Score or MOV within 2=1 point

End of regular season top 25 and ties move on to championship round with team

We had a discussion on this last year
How should predictions be evaluated ?
IMO, MOV is the metric which should have a much smaller impact on the final scoring of predictions.
Say UConn wins 80-50
One member predicts 100-70. MOV exactly correct = 4 points
Another member predicts 84-52.
One point for being within 2 of a score and one point for MOV being within 2.
But, is there really any doubt as to which member's prediction is closest to the actual score ?
