Got an e-mail for availability of single game tickets vs UCONN women in March.
$50 + fees etc. EACH for nose bleed seats.

RIDICULOUS.

Hello SNY

Cal has their $12 seats for $30 plus fees, and their normal $35 seats for $75. In spite of that, almost all of the reserved seats are sold. Single game tickets have only been available since yesterday. Their mini-plans all included the Uconn game, so I'm guessing they sold a bunch of those in recent weeks as well. Smart marketing to make WBB less of a financial drag, as they're selling seats that may never get used to games against less attractive opponents

As Geno said so well... something like... it's like "the circus comes to town"... referring to what it's like when UCONN WBB visits most any place in the country, especially in the midst of "the Streak".

Just my take but over a number of years have been going to USF to watch UConn during our Winter Snowbird Season. We are not alone as CT fans far outnumber South Florida at the game. Imagine that grates on Jose as it did with C. Vivian years ago at Rutgers. She made things ... hmn, let’s say ... “uncomfortable” for Husky fans in a number of ways! Part of college sport rivalries and speaks well on how far the women’s game has come, I’m thinking ...

Season tickets for the women run $95-$105. $105 in sec 107 includes admission to the arena club.

I just bought good seats for UConn-Oklahoma game directly from OU for $15.00 each plus $1.00 each in fees. GA seats in their upper bowl are $8.00 (their arena seats 12,000). Because of this thread I checked prices for other OU home games. Tix for their game vs. Central Arkansas are the same price.

I'm assuming those are single game/ seat prices. We purchased season tickets for the Bulls, 15 games plus the Club area for $250.00 per seat for the season. We are in section 103, 4th row from the court. $16.67 per ticket per game - includes buffet spread before the game.

I got my numbers from the school athletic web page. The price is for one season ticket.

For the USF game, I'm guessing that you could get a reasonably priced walk-up ticket
on game day from either the Yuengling Center box office or the ticket office at the
Amalie Arena downtown. That's what I'm going to do, and I'll bet I can get a seat in
the 200 level between the baskets.

I bought tickets for UCF for my parents last year and while the tickets prices weren’t bad the seating was strange. It was open seating but my dad said that very few in UConn blue were put in the middle seactions.

Same thing happened to us last year at UCF. The minute the ushers saw the UConn hat or shirt, you were told you HAD to go to the corner sections. They did not seem to be in the mood for a discussion as to why we had to sit there when we paid the same price for a "General Admission' ticket as everyone else.
