That AAC teams, the league where we can't even win more than a game, are getting shelled by 6-6 ACC teams.

AAC is a terrible football conference this year. And we won a game in it.

No one wants to admit it, but right now, we belong in the AAC. If we can't get into the upper half of it within 2-4 years than no way no how do we deserve to be in a power 5 conference.

Do you really comprehend how truly awful we are right now in comparison to even an average power 5 team? Cincinnati and Houston didn't even belong on the same field as 6-6 VA Tech and Pitt.

Bloodbath wouldn't even be the word if UConn and Oregon/OSU were ever on the same field for 60 minutes. UConn has such a long way to go to even sniff that level of success that it's profoundly upsetting.

These semifinal games were all the more of a stark reminder of that.

Ohio State? Oregon?

No sane person should be thinking about getting to that level because it will never ever happen. Let's start by getting the program to the point we can beat bad football teams like SMU and Army. After that we can try to get to the point where we become bowl eligible and finish in the upper half of the standings playing in one of the worst leagues in the country, something we cannot come close to doing for some reason.

The reason is looking off in a weird direction in your avatar photo, probably attempting to access or find the creative part of his brain to explain why he hired Pasqualoni.

Watching the games last night made me wonder if we are playing the same sport as Oregon/Bama/tOSU etc. The speed that those teams can play at is incredible

You are putting way too much emphasis on a couple bowl games.

South Carolina should have shut down their football program when they lost to UConn. When UCF beat Baylor, the B12 should have folded. Etc. Way too much emphasis.

And, by the way, Houston isn't exactly a stellar team. They have a 7-5 record, losses to UT San Antonio and Tulane.
