I wouldn’t worry about it at all. Assistant coaches are the fall guys. You can pretty much replace his name with Greg McDermott.

Murphy was at BC when Terrell committed to URI.
This has nothing to do with Hurley.

These are all his assistant coaches over the years, feel free to investigate: Bobby Hurley, Bashir Mason, Luke Murray, Steve Smith, Jim Carr, Dave Cox, Tyron Boswell, Antonio Reynolds Dean, and Tom Moore. Also, I love the idea that anyone at Adidas (or anywhere, for that matter) would be that invested in getting a guy to URI.
