Preseason game tickets?

I have only gone to the second half of a preseason game once and the door guard just gave me a ticket when I walked in. My question - how do you get tickets?

1. Become a season ticket holder
2. Go to UConn Athletics Ticket Center on-line
3. Visit the door guard again.
