Predictions Syracuse Game?

Until we beat a good team, it's pure betting with one's heart to pick UConn. I'm taking the "prepare for the worst and hope for the best" approach which has never failed me before.

a jet lagged Syracuse coming off of a very long trip from Massachusetts, to California, back to New York, has to play a 12 pm game against a independent right before their major end of season Top 25 game against Miami, and UConn got a bye week
couldn't have been set up better for UConn to pull off the upset, 27-17 UConn

We have to start out better in the 1st half than we have the last few games.

Syracuse has a very veteran secondary, which I think will cause problems for our passing game. I think they’ll stack the box and dare us to throw the ball. Hoping for the best but I have a feeling we’re goi to be in for a long afternoon today.

So its halftime and Syracuse is out-driving by as much as twice total yardage. This game could get out of hand depending on UConn's first drive. If UConn is going to have a shot - the defense has to do something they have not yet done Stop the SU offense. Otherwise I predict this gets ugly and as fans we will be wanting to turn this off and tune out the rest of this one.

Because our defense seems to be able to turn it up a notch in the 2nd half of games this season I think we got a shot... our offense has to do their part... can't come out the gate too inconsistent.. with that said I say we fall just short (27-24)

I thought you needed a like. Opinions like yours (and mine) will not be popular on this board. Hope to high heavens I’m wrong, Lord I wish I was wrong, but I think your predictions are extremely optimistic. My apologies to everyone, but I think this is not going to be pretty one bit.

I couldn’t have been more wrong, and happy to say. We played extremely well, against a higher lever team. With NIL and transfer portal we can build a winning program.
