I was reading Syracuse Message board and they have one of these threads for next Saturday’s game.

IMO this game will put a stamp on our season regardless of bowl game.

Did we have good year, vs. great surpassing expectations? I think the starting QB decision looms huge on this game. I think Joe could give us a chance to win this thing.

I am going to predict we win this game on the road after falling behind by 14 in first quarter. 17-7 at the half. Come back to win this 28-23 or something like that.

I am attending this one in person. I hope I dont regret making this trip but after watching a lot of their game yesterday they are a good team. Likely two TDs better than us. That said maybe get a couple turnovers and keep it close and win late. Win would be huge, but a very tall order.

I think we’re the perfect team for Cuse to overlook. I don’t believe we are as good as them, but we are a very dangerous second half team. If I were a Cuse fan, I’d be a little nervous. Realistically, I see this game being a 31-14 score as long as Cuse plays their game, but we could absolutely upset them if they’re complacent. So here’s my prediction: 24-21 good guys with a second half comeback

If Joe starts this game we win by 1 to 3 points. D keeps us in the game.
If Nick is our guy, we lose by 7 to 14 points. Offense won't keep up with them. Our running game will work, but we will take 7 to 8 minutes per drive and limit scoring.
I hope I'm wrong...but just have a gut feeling that Joe is the key to a win at Cuse.

I’m going with 34-10

But maybe worse.

Mora will probably start Evers if he is healthy Steven Krajewski we will be offensively challenged.

We’re without Dixon-Williams in the first half.

Team looked awful at home after a BYE week.

It’s a tall order. We’ll have to be able to run the ball to control some clock, put some points on the board and limit their offensive possessions. McCord, Allen and the receivers are very good. May be a bit of a trap game for them before Miami comes to town. Predicting a 7-10 point loss but we’ll see.

If we have Joey as QB, we are about as good of a team as Cal. Cal made some mistakes during the Syracuse game. If they hadn't, I think they could have beaten Syracuse.

The footing is going to be a lot better than at UAB, since the game will be indoors and Syracuse has the money to upkeep it much better than the Blazers. That means that our run game is gonna be back on and in full force. Additionally, our QB (either one, although I think Joe should start) will not have to deal with the wind. This should feel like throwing in the Shenkman Training Facility for either QB. I think we're going to get maximum output from our QBs as well.

31 - 21 Huskies. Bank on it...

We certainly have the ability to win the game but to me, it’s all about the offense stepping up and keeping the Orange O off the field. I love our Defense but they can’t be expected to dominate every game. What we could use to help tilt the scales is more Turnovers like UAB game. Then the offense must capitalize if we’re going to keep this game close Until the 4th Quarter. i think this is best case scenario.

Totally agree. It's time for Evers to back up Joe. If Evers starts then I'm probably going to be raking leaves and following the Scoreboard online...
