Hoping Bouk plays. We could use his scoring. I feel Butler is very beatable either way. Uconn 74. Butler 62

Adama with 20 points tomorrow. With Bouk limited and Butlers lack of size he’s in line for a big game.

Listened to the interview with their beat reporter. Sounds like they rely on younger guards a lot. And they don't run a ton. I think we should beat a relatively slow young team. Comfortably

This would be the game to ease Akok into if that’s what they’re waiting for at this point.

From reports as of last night Bouk is still nursing that elbow. I would expect only minimal Bouk today.

To counter Butler's small ball that means more minutes for Adams and Gaff at the 2 or going real small with Polley and Martin getting lots of run at the four.

Prediction?

UConn 63
Butler 51

Each team gets bumped up a dime from the championship game.

If we can avoid the five-minute scoring drought, we sould be fine. Otherwise, watch out fingernails.

71-58..Good Guys.. Surprise contributor.. Adama.. ..No need for Bouk today.. Get that Bow rested..

Status on AA for today??

I'm kinda surprised that the spread is only -2.5.
There will be a crowd of about 2,000 there- the first time all season where they are playing in front of fans. Maybe they think that will give Butler more of a home court advantage? Either way, it will be interesting to see if that’s a factor in the game.

I don’t know squat about Butler. I am hoping UConn plays 40 minutes of high effort high intensity defense with corresponding effort on the boards. If we do that I like our chances. Would really like to see Akok play, and I hope Martin is better than last game.
