(not your personal list, but what you think ESPN's panel arrived at.. e.g. Coach K may not be hottest right now in my book, but I would suspect media bias still results in him being at the top)

1. Kryzyewski
2. Calipari
3. Pitino
4. Izzo
5. Self
6. Donovan
7. Ollie
8. Marshall
9. Miller
10. Beilein
11. Ryan

There is no way Coach K is at the top of this list with the criteria they are using. They were overrated all year last year and lost in the first round of the ncaa, same thing 3 years ago. With their recruits that is not to impressive. They are becoming one and Done university like Kentucky except his coaching style does work with all freshman like Calipari's does.

1. Ollie. By their criterion - "Which coaches are doing the best job right now?" - who can score higher? How can you do better than taking an unheralded team to an NCAA championship?

I don't really care who is 2-10. Throw them in a hat and jumble them. Personally, I think Hoiberg should have been in the top 5, he's taking Iowa State upward on a similar trajectory to the one Jim Calhoun was taking in the late 80s - early 90s. People don't realize how hard it is to do that at a no-name no-tradition school in the middle of nowhere. I think Donovan should be #2 behind Ollie, he had Florida as good as anyone this year, 30 straight wins, Final Four loss to the champions, and he didn't have that much talent, no lottery picks on the team. Calipari #3, he's doing a great job recruiting even if he is a mediocre coach, and that's a huge part of college ball. Izzo, Ryan, Pitino have to be ranked high.

I would be shocked if Ollie is #1. Way too early from a resume (even recent) standpoint.

If its based on recent NCs then Pitino is above him, for one thing. Plus Pitino just won the 2013 BE and 2014 AAC conference championships to add to the NC.

For Ollie to be recognized anyplace in the top 10 as a first year coach is exceptional.

He has coached two seasons, think you may have meant first "time" head coach.
