Alright. Im not saying we cant compete with UNC and KU for recruits but cmon now. If Precious chose us hed be the 4th best recruit in the history of UConn, why would we stoop to that level because we stopped recruiting such an elite player?

I don't think they have an entire no-show multi-year curriculum geared towards athletes. All schools have a few "easy" classes but UNC took it to an absurd level, but hey they're UNC so no harm no foul.

How have I not heard of Sonny Geraci? I knew all about Tony Burrows and Ron Dante but had never heard of Sonny.

Caron was already full blown man when he showed up on campus. He also had a more developed offensive game than what I've read about precious. Precious might be more athletic? But more raw.

The reason he was ranked higher than Caron could be 1) Caron was a Post Grad 2) I think he's a step up in athleticism, so projects to higher upside in the minds of scouts

Caron is also one of my favorites
