So, what's the over/under on how long Creme redoes bracketology based on news of Paige's injury, without waiting to see what the team does while she's out?

It only matters where UCONN finishes the Post Season at, that matters. Who cares at this point where they end up being seeded in the Big Dance. Just as long as the entire team, including Paige, Aubrey and Azzi, are 100% healthy going into the tournament.

What's the Bracketology impact of losing Bueckers?

Creme: UConn remains a No. 1 seed. The answer might be different if there were obvious choices to supplant the Huskies, but so many other highly regarded teams have struggled in the season's first month and haven't put up good enough résumé. Given the impact Bueckers has on everything UConn does, one might expect a drop-off with her sidelined. But Bracketology is a result-driven business, and nothing changes for now.

We will be watching to see how UConn plays in its next two games without Bueckers. If UConn gets wins over Georgia Tech and UCLA, and looks good doing it, the Huskies will stay on the No. 1 line. Anything less than that and UConn will fall if teams like Stanford, Louisville or Baylor, for example, take care of business in a week where none of them, based on the schedule, should be challenged.

Latest Bracketology (as at 10 Dec 2021) has been released.

Notes:
  • Tulsa listed twice, I have manually changed one of them to Elon in my google sheet.
  • 2 teams for A-Sun, as Liberty has the best conference record and FGCU is an at-large.
  • 2 teams for Ivy League, as Columbia has the best conference record and Princeton is an at-large.
If not automatically giving "aq" to the best conference record then both Mississippi St. and Northwestern would be in the 68 team field replacing Liberty and Columbia.

Four seed? No problem.

I'd lov3e to see that bracket with UConn #4 seed. With everyone healthy I'd think they would have a great chance to succeed!

The seeding changes every week.... Games are postponed and cancelled, injuries and covid change things too. In 2 months UConn will go from a 3 or 4 seed to a 2 seed at the least, depending on who shows up healthy. I guess I am too old to get excited about a fantasy someone dreams up.
