Is this news worthy ? Coach lost iPad in airport equals atta king each other.
Smack smack both of u

We were making light of the situation and telling jokes until Super Fan weyuo came in on his high horse. This clown cannot continually lecture people about what and how they should discuss things without getting some backlash.

There is nothing more irritating that someone who thinks he's a better fan than others based on what they post on a message board. There are a few on this board. I really think they should go post on Scout.

Or when they give their UConn fandom resume' and attendance record before admonishing the populous.

I support the UConn Huskies. I don't like it when so called fans of the program take cheap shots at the coaching staff or any other part of the athletic department. When you do I'm going to call you on it.

Serrano: A party where a handful of you are taking shots at the football program won't be a party that many would attend anyways. So why don't you and ZooCougar and a couple others have your little circle jerk and let the rest of us get on to the business of supporting the UConn sports teams.

This is by far the best post I've read this year. (Of course I know it's only February 1st.) Regardless, you can disagree politely or not with what or how something was said, but to me it's pretty obvious that every comment was from a die hard UConn Husky fb fan who has a passion for the team. I wonder if we all didn't post anonymously if we'd be welcome at each others tailgate?

I'll bet we've even tailgated with fellow BY posters and not even known it. Or maybe we did.

One thing I have found, at least for me, is once you meet someone face to face and share a beverage it becomes harder to use a venomous appproach when responding to them.

Still a few I'd like to meet. Not sure they feel the same way though.

Amen... We're all friends when food and beer are involved! At least at first. :)

How the hell are a few comments (mostly made in jest) about our head coach misplacing his IPad taking cheap shots at the program?

This isn't the first time that you've gone overboard supporting P, normally you are blasting other posters (very valid) complaints of what has transpired over the past two seasons. In another thread you are praising P because a QB who initially committed to BC (while P was in charge no less) is now considering UConn. If our home state were similar to Texas or Florida, having the HS coaching cronies getting wet because one of their own is in charge of our program it would be great. Hell, if we were even similar to Maryland or Georgia it would be well worth it. Unless things change drastically here however, if our program is built primarily on in state talent we won't stand a chance. I don't understand the cyber-fellatio that you continue to perform on P but this is really something warrants more discretion than you are demonstrating.

I've been saying this for a few years now. The Boneyard needs a Rentshler tradition. Meet up somewhere, acknowledge they were right, and hand them a beer! ... of course that is if they even go to the game ... :p

Anonymous internet posters hand out opinions and predictions like they're candy ... and never are held accountable.

There are probably dozens of posters who rather throw a beer in my face than drink one with me, but I can only think of a couple who I genuinely do not ever want to meet.

I would definitely be up to meeting most Boneyarders at one of the games (or even the Spring Game), including the people that I argue with regularly. Everyone fills a purpose on the board, and I would rather that everyone sticks around here instead of being told to hit the road. Except for Observer. F#$k Observer...

Is Observer still around? He went to ignore purgatory on my computer a while ago.

I haven't seen him in a long time either. Every now and again, I'll see an Antiobserver post, and it will remind me of the fun times...
