Potential Away Game Meet Up - Middletown, CT

Hey Yarders, so after the Andre NIL event at Red Fox tonight it reminded me of a thread earlier this year where several people expressed interest in a potential Middletown meet up to watch an away game. Looking at the schedule, I think a couple potential away game options are…

Wednesday, 1/4 vs Providence at 8:30pm
Saturday, 2/11 vs Creighton at 2:00pm

Saturday, 3/4 vs Nova at 7:30pm seems like a good option too but is quite far away. Thinking potential locations could be La Boca, Sicily, or Celtic Cavern, but also open to recommendations. I haven’t reached out anywhere to ask but figured I’d start a thread and re-gauge interest first.

I am likely in, probably more so on a weeknight than a Saturday. I’d vote Sicily as a good game-watching setup with the upstairs

I'm close enough to attend. Somewhere with great pizza and/or wings would be a bonus.

I would definitely be down for the Creighton game. Wouldn't be able to make the other ones.

Great idea, especially since I live in Middletown and I was not able to make it to Red Fox tonight

Providence is better for me, but it's possible that I could make Creighton work.

All good options. Sliders could work as well, since we wouldn't have to worry about Main St parking.

Back in the day (first NC) we had several BYers at Rookies in Cromwell and it served as a great mojo spot. Now Chicago Sams and probably still a good meeting spot!
