Very likable dude, I really liked his game, he is a very good basketball player. I think he would have been more of a contributor his second season for sure. Offensively he seemed to be figuring it out, but defensively he was going to struggle some, not being as athletic

Agree with this. We were hoping for a Cam Spencer….Cam was in his 5th year with a year at Rutgers by the time he got here.

I agree… There is a spot on any team for a kids that scores 10 pts per game, doesn’t turn the ball over and handles rock/distributes. Saw that from him a few games at the end of last season and would have expected him, settled in this year, to do this right out of the gate.

But, I think the competition for his spot on the floor, getting even harder this year, probably led to him departing.
 
He fancied himself more a shooting guard than point guard but with Ball and once Mullins signed - nobody wants to be 3rd on the depth chart, especially if you want minutes.
