Someone, sorry I can't remember exactly who, used to have my favorite pix as their avatar. It was after we beat Stanford for the championship - Caroline is looking up, smiling, surrounded by swirling confetti. I would love to see that picture again (sigh)!

Dobbs and I both use this as an avatar. Looks like what you are describing.
 
Dear Myers, Ed4, and Dobbs - Yes!! That is the one - it was cropped so all you could see was Caroline with her arms raised and the confetti. What a look of pure joy. THANK YOU!!!

Yeah, and I'm impressed with Meyers getting the pic from a submission on the Picture of the Year International competition site. I've always just gone to the San Antonio Express News site for the game pic slideshow at: Link

This photo is part of (the immediate aftermath) of one of DT's more memorable moments (and there were a lot of them). Who knows what that "moment" was? And no, Dobbs cannot play.

Way to let the drama build there Phil! Yes indeed. that was the moment. For what it's worth, this photo was the inspiration of one of the Boneyard magazine covers in that era.

Nah, I was there and heard what Maya was saying, "Then it's settled. You'll sit out one year, then Stef will be gone...." (Couldn't hear the rest, so I'm not sure what she meant. Russell was happy though). :D

Man, and I thought the photo came after DT punched something orange and knocked the stanchion over. Looks like on the cover she's got two pairs of chop sticks and is snapping up some Geno gai pan. Got a small screen here though.
 
that picture is adorable. Looks like a Daddy with his two daughters. Sue might be the best part of the picture. :D

UConn was up about 30 points against Louisiana Tech in an eventual 74-50 win and coach Geno Auriemma was searching for something to say to the team in a timeout.

"I thought these guys were supposed to be good," point guard Sue Bird said.
Auriemma's reply: "They are good."

It's just that UConn was better than everybody else this season. "We can make good teams look bad," Auriemma said. "These kids were always looking to prove themselves."
