Tuck now 9/10 from the floor, 4/4 from the line: 22 points, 15 rebounds
Best bench player in America.

And she hit a trey that didn't count because of a 3-second call.

Morgan looked rusty last game. Today she looked like a star.

The Chong/Nurse battle, part 2:

Chong: 5 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 block, 0 TO in 20 minutes

Nurse: 8 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, 3 TO in 18 minutes

Very unprofessional announcers - we can hear them during commercial breaks.

Bob: (whiny voice) "Can we go home now?" (second time)

Yeah, that drove me crazy. I actually looked for a twitter handle for him so I could let him know that he had a live mike for the entire game including breaks.

.-.
7-14 on treys. Good.

5-9 on FTs. Bad.

Yeah, am a little worried about the free throws not going in. Is it nerves, are they rushing, do they need to do a little work in the gym?

Time will tell.

WHY GENO WAIT SO LONG TO PUT IN GABBY IS MY QUESTION !! Things like that can give people heart failure.

I am sure that he has his reasons. I am fairly sure that we have a 50 - 5o chance of finding out the reason...

Thanks gang for the updates.......You guys were awesome.

Late to the party on this one. I used the joke a couple of pages in...

Has anyone discussed yet the need to now discuss how well Stokes, et al, are doing replacing Dolson this year?

In other words a "Post-Post Game Post Game" thread?

No one has discussed it yet. Let's do it after the game.

Thanks, guys. I was traveling the entire time and just got home and read the thread.

Looking forward to the post-game analysis.

G-Will is very talented and very raw.

Between missed senior year (damn ACL) and all the rehab, training and physical therapy work leading to last Sunday's exhibition, the kid has had practically ZERO game time. I know it's not something BYers have in great abundance, but be patient, she'll be just wonderful.

When UConn comes up against Notre Dame, South Carolina, Stanford, etc., then you can talk about how well Kiah is replacing Stef. Until then, there's no replacing Stef, on the court or off.

Kiah's destroyed lesser competition before. She has the talent to do it against anyone, but I'll feel better when she does rather than getting too high off these performances.

Agreed, but she's building good habits. I thought she was aggressive offensively today. I'd like to see her make all the layups though.

I don't think the team is expecting her to replace Stef but to play her game. There are things that she can't do as well as Stef but she is a better shot blocker and perhaps rebounding on both ends of the floor.

It is a good thing that kids don't read "classic children's literatue" any more, or she would forever be known as "Goody Two Shoes".
