Same effort, same skills, same result. No comments on individual performance blips, because the overall team execution overrides their importance and the coaches will deal with them if necessary.
So, instead, a vignette: At about 3:30 of the 3rd quarter, Hannah is dribbling up the floor flanked by a defender. As she reaches halfcourt, a second defender fronts her to impede progress. Then a third defender approaches from crosscourt and Hannah has no option but to pass the ball out of the trap. Yet, before the recipient of the pass can do anything, there is a defender on her. By the time she has an opportunity to survey the offensive formation, the entire Husky defense is in place. Marvelous! And just one example of a well-oiled and prepared defensive collective.
Only one ineligible active player left -- Ayanna needs 23 minutes to join the fray.
