Did anyone else feel bad for Maria and the way Geno acted when she interviewed him after the game? I understand he was upset but it looks like she's new to this and not as good as the girl last year doing the interviews but she's trying..I'm a big Geno fan but personally thought that was kind if classless

No. Court side interviewers need to come up with more intelligent questions.

Geno had just been very patient and explained what was good and not so good, talking about the game. Then she asked the question!!!! That's why he walked away. She may be new but she NEEDS to listen to what the person being interviewed is saying.
No, I do not feel bad for her, I feel bad for Geno. He is usually very gracious with his time and answers.

yeh, I was annoyed. another obnoxious millionaire. at least he didn't throw a bottle at her, like he did the guy sitting behind the bench.

Yes it was a dick move to someone that's like one third of his age who is just starting out in her career. At the very least it was disrespectful. I like my public servants, whether they be police officers, the governor, or a basketball coach at the largest state school, to maintain professionalism no matter how emotional they are. Geno is one of the highest paid state employees. He can do better.

Yeah, I was annoyed as well. Another moronic question by a clueless reporter. Sideline reporting should just be eliminated. Nothing of value is ever gained by the questions. How much money someone makes has nothing to do with anything. Just pure jealousy I’m guessing.

Geno is usually a really good interview at halftime and post game. He doesn't give pat, rehearsed, cliche answers. He gives honest and thoughtful answers, positive and negative. His teams are usually so good that we expect positive remarks all the time, but that wasn't the case the other night. As Maine Fan pointed out above, he gave a reasonably long answer to one question, and it may have very well been his best move to cut his answer to the followup rather than give an extended rant that could have been way worse.

He gave the occasional curt answer to Kerith and Justine; it comes with the territory.
