Post Game Thread - Thank You, Alex and Tarris!

I am so proud of this UConn team. They went out on their shield. Thank you Tarris, Alex, Malachi, and Alec for your contributions. Best of luck in your futures.
You guys are true UConn Huskies and will always be part of the UConn family and welcomed back to Connecticut.

I will hold my tongue on the officiating for another day.

This team and coaching staff gave us another wonderful season with a shot at another title. Nothing but love for those young men and Dan Hurley, the Carpenter. Thank you Alex Karaban. You are an all time Husky.

We played our hearts out and fought to the bitter end.

Great season... Michigan was the better team today. Disappointing, but still had a chance despite not playing their best game of the season, against a team, who was generally the best team in the nation all year.

Incredible effort and heart, but the reality is that the boys have shot the ball poorly since even before the tournament and the shooting woes continued throughout the tournament. Tonight they simply faced a team that was too talented for them to overcome the shooting struggles.

Our 1v1 offensive weaknesses really showed tonight. I hate to look forward to next season because I am going to deathly miss these guys, but we absolutely need a guard who can get in the lane consistently. That isn’t Solo’s game and Silas didn’t show it a ton either. We need a big athletic guard.

Man… that sucked!! They did everything everything they needed to do to win. They had them on the brink and just couldn’t capitalize.
I say it was the opposite, we just couldn't make the winning play. We put ourselves in great positions but couldn't capitalize.

Disappointing end to a great season. Many changes next season with the departures of Alex, Tarris, Malachi and Luke. It was a fun ride.
