UCONN is done this team is an NIT team. I am completely disappointed in this team and the lack of effort, passion, intensity, energy, fight, etc. Lamb is forcing things and is playing very bad. Team are focusing in on him and hes trying to make a play because no one else will, he's not producing. Napier I wont even blame him for the loss or for the team's play because I dont expect Napier to play well. He was a zero again today and played more than necessary. His defensive liabilities were apparent again today. The two little guard lineup doesnt work against teams that have big and quick guards and wing player like Georgetown and our guards especially Napier get exposed. Boatright was okay and was good in the beginning of the game but the 2 fouls and bringing Napier in the game just completely ruined the flow and rhythm the team had going.Boatright needs to play all 40 minutes if possible because UCONN was playing really well to start the game with Boat but when he was out it was a complete debacle.
Drummond was ok but doesn't understand basketball and gets beat by his man defensively. Sims drove by him many times when Drummond tried to go for steals and reach in. Roscoe and Oriakhi didn't do much and they have been disappointing as has the whole team. The only player I will acknowledge today was Daniels who surprised me by actually making 2 good drives to the basket and making them. Unfortunately there many problems with this team including lack of leadership. The coaching staff also didn't have a particularly good day with substitutions in and out. There needs to be a fixed starting 5 and a fixed bench without too many substitutions which are killing the flow of the team.
