How adapting to new role off the bench?

I love it. Give energy on defense. Create open shots for my teammates. Create energy, 'cause we can get down on ourselves.

Your 1-on-1 ball defense on PG

Part of my mentality. Pressure the handler takes them out of their offens

Where has your game improved

Stamina. Attacking better. Creating shots for myself and teammates. Defense - staying disciplined, not reaching out, no fouls.

How did you meet pre-game goals?

Got sloppy at end, and they'll probably harp on that after. Good flow on offense. It's how we look on offense and defense. Communicating on both ends.

How much fun is it playing with Sarah

Sarah is a dog. Off court we have fun, but when she gets on the court, whole different person.

How's the trip?

Liking it outside. Not cold like CT. Enjoyable team bonding.

Stick around till Saturday, plans?

There may be some dinners. Letting others plans. Just enjoying being in each other's presence.

Finally - Just so much fun to have so many options...

It is. We have diff pieces to the puzzle. Great bench energy. Pull someone out, and from the bench they bring a new piece to the puzzle. Really exciting.. staying healthy.

When UConn plays teams with elite guard play, KK is going to be much more important than Chen. Which is why she should be play a lot more now.
I couldn't agree more with your sentiment. KK has more lateral quickness than Chen and generally keeps her player in front of her.

I have no idea what our record is gonna be when we get done with South Carolina. We could have three, four losses or we could be undefeated. For the record, I’d say one or two losses is more likely but whatever it is, you can bet we will be a better team than we are now! You can also safely bet the house that we’ll be better still when the Bg East Tournament comes around! Everybody will be better! This team, as talented as it already is, has more room for improvement than any team I’ve ever seen! Again, no one can know where we’ll end up but I think it’s pretty safe to say that Geno is gonna work his *** off to try and get Paige her title! That, and the tremendous talent on this roster, makes me feel pretty good about our chances!

KK isn’t the second coming of MoJeff but she is clearly our best defensive match up against quick, penetrating guards like Hidalgo.

kk, or any other husky, won't match up 'against quick, penetrating guards like Hidalgo.' sorry about that -- the best hope is that uconn's team/help defense will limit them. every husky has a role.

Fun and key. Their options wear the other team down.

Imho key to playing Notre Dame is to make them play defens
Especially their guards and get into their bench
Hidalgo is an undisciplined defender, who tries to cheat off or player and just roam the floor
Miles is a BEST an average defender
They’re going to score 80 points no matter what you do the key is the score 90
Which we are certainly capable of doing
