Post Game Presser?

Quote from Jeff Walz in post game presser says it all,

"...obviously Paige shoots the basketball well, Azzi does also. I mean they're they've got two kids that can shoot the three and spread things out and stretch things, but now they they just don't shoot it as well so you're able to pack in more you're able to help off and uh try and help on their post players"
If only our senior guards could shoot better than 30% from 3. Right now our best 3-point shooter is Caroline at 32%. CW/Evina/Paige are all around 9 for 30 on the season. Azzi makes 44% of them so when she gets back that should help quite a bit, but at this point the opponents' defense is predictable: pack it in and dare someone, anyone, to shoot and make 3s.

Muffett has seen this “UConn bias” thread with respect to the Olympics and she has decided to jump on the bandwagon. (Much like how she decided to suck up to Summitts memory when ND was playing UConn in Nashville.) she’s quite the opportunist.

This is now her SECOND comment about how things are biased towards UConn.
Both are utterly laughable and do not stand up to any scrutiny.

1) Holding the AP poll for a 1/2 game. As the AP writer pointed out — anytime there is a 1/2 game in the afternoon of a poll day, it makes no sense to release the poll and they will wait.
2) this ridiculous “ESPN is pro-UConn”. This would be the same ESPN that told the ACC to take Syracuse and Pitt instead of UConn? The same ESPN that could’ve told the ACCto take UConn over Louisville? The same ESPN that now runs networks for both the SEC and ACC, and thus is a direct business partner with those 29 schools?

(And yes, as it has been well documented, ESPN did play a major role in conference realignment)

No one with half a brain believes either of these things.
