Sad, Nelson died in a plane crash on December 31, 1985.

Seamus Egan, Solas flute/whistle/mandolin/bodhran/guitar player, wrote the music for this when he was about 20. When he did the music for The Brothers McMullin, Sarah McLaghlan wrote lyrics and sang it. Solas finally got around to recording it many years later.
