As most reasonable people who watched the game concluded the refs clearly favored Louisville. It also seemed to me, as well as many others on here that the refs favored Memphis in UConn's last game. I just don't recall so many conference games in which UConn received the bad end of officiating on such a consistent basis.

My head tells me that I am viewing the officiating as a homer.

However I did pick up during the pre game show, Reece Davis talk about how the Syracuse-Pitt game was like a Big East match played in the ACC, he then brought up the point that Louisville will be joining the ACC next year, and concluded by saying and "UCONN is still looking for a home."

My heart is telling me the AAC may have picked up that UCONN will not be staying in the AAC very long and it would look awfully bad for the conference to lose UCONN if they end up being the best team in the conference... maybe there is something to the fact that Cincy is also undefeated in the conference... you can;t build a rivalry for Memphis if the team that is supposed to be their rival will be playing in another conference in the near future... who knows

Can I have what you're smoking?

As a serious point of refutation of your argument: considering that Louisville is actually leaving the AAC this year, wouldn't it make more sense for them to be at the short end of the officiating stick than one of the marquee teams that is going to headline the conference for the foreseeable future (even if they're the most likely next team to leave)?

I raised an eyebrow to the "looking for a home" comment. Then had more beer and went on with my life.

As a serious reply... Everyone already knows Louisville is leaving the conference the AAC can't get burned by them again. Also Memphis beat Louisville... I am sure the AAC would like to hype up that fact and it looks better the better Louisville does

at the end of the day would I bet money on this "crazy" idea... No

But it is just as plausible if not more so then Many people on here believing Espn was behind the one sided officiating... Remember Espn also has a contract with the AAC...

What you heard was ESPN's example of how they view Connecticut. They go out of their way to smear us, degrade us, and twist the CR knife every chance they get. They can't wait to move down south... in spite of the millions they have poured into Bristol's facilities. As soon as someone matches the facilities they are gone.

We had a number of calls go against us tonight that were questionable at best. Less on the other side but certainly in key situations trying to make a comeback. Boat got shoved covering a guy and was called for a foul. Just rolled his eyes. They got frustrated and I don't blame them after the accumulation of cheap calls this year. It needs to stop.

Sorry if I failed to address the silver-lining aspect. Never seen KO like that and glad he got off the court without popping somebody.

Hopefully a big sinkhole will help them go South sooner rather than later. Would have been nice to join the ACC but they've pretty much poisoned that well.
