Come on, think hard, what were positives, signs of progress, nice plays?

Obvious one was Shabazz having a good game, playing with composure, making a lot of nice passes/assists, and not forcing things for the most part.

Boat hit a couple 3's and had not done so in some time.

We showed better ball movement than in every previous game.

Our assists to points ratio was very high.

They fought and kept it close as long as they could.

Lamb shot well when he was doing what he does best, shooting inside the 3 point line. His 3PAs per game shouldn't be as high as it is, especially when he can be so much more effective. It's like having a swiss army knife and opening a can with the knife instead of the can opener. 4-5 from inside is great, and he needs to take more of those.

I think it's a good sign that Drummond got more than 10 shot attempts.

For a stretch they did a great job getting the ball to AD in position to score.

jLamb played better overall than he has recently and made an impressive cut and finish with a floater in the lane...we need more of that

TO make some very good passes In traffic.

AO and AD both played good interior defense for most of the game

Lets see what happens in the next few games to see if this Syracuse game had any positives. We thought this team turned it around after the WVU and ND wins but look what happened. Same thing when they beat Seton Hall last week after the Oriakhi meeting. If this team finishes the season winning 4 or 5 out of the 6 remaining games and does some damage in the Garden, then i would say the Cuse game got them back on track.

Drummond went hard to the hole. He needed to stop with the weaksauce and Blaney yelled at him and finally got his attention. Lamb finally decided that every shot didn't have to be a 3 and actually drove into the lane a couple of times. A couple of light bulbs may have gone on. Those two can change the whole dynamic of the offense if they attack the rim.

D must DUNK.
They caved at the ~5 min mark. Otherwise, good game.
But what about that 3D?? And those those S drives to the hoop in which the S driver should have been de-cappitated???

Funny thing, I was watching GTown today and couldn't help but notice how much our offense yesterday looked like theirs. Say what you want about them but they always passed the ball well until they found a high percentage shot, sometimes back door cuts and they don't just dribble around. I think we learned a lot yesterday, but we'll see.
