Did I really think we'd have a chance down 25 on the road without Bouk scoring in the second half? Nope. But luckily the team didn't give up any more than I did, and ending up winning going away. Great intensity from frankly everyone the last 16 minutes. Whaley was great and what Polley did was so far beyond what we had ever seen from him in his career -- even if you forget that even through the first half he still looked like he wasn't back to where he was last year -- that no one could have foreseen it.
This may be a wildly unpredictable year. Other than Bouk, we have a team full of players who can be really important one game and then a total non-factor the next. Figuring out who will be able to help you win game by game is going to be an immense challenge for Hurley. His job will be easier if we play team defense and rebound on both ends as hard as we did the last 16 minutes.
