every one likes forte 2night!

McCummings and McCombs were productive

two freshmen coach didn't recruit

McCombs looked the best he has all year. All them reps are doing wonders for him. He even managed to effectively block a rusher today. That might be a season first for him. The drop off at fullback cannot be stated enough. Hinkley has no balance after he catches a pass.

Our defense looked great when we didn't blitz. Granted that encompassed only five or six plays but still,.....

Positive: the 2 "referees" in the front row of the student section.

Negative: They didn't try to pull the Arizona streaker ref move. #shouldabeggedharder

McCombs... McCummings... Kash... Nick Williams... our TEs... I thought they all were solid.

JMac... someone mentioned during the chat last night "just what does someone have to do to be benched as UConn's starter" and we are all still wondering that answer. He is regressing. Any time the offense moves forward it seems like it's despite JMac's best efforts, not because of them.

We got the Pitt offense really tired from making them run all those yards!

As bad as the game was, watching on my PC wasn't quite as bad as a few Thursday morning conference calls.

I think people are blinded by their negativity. Some of you have arrived at the point where you no longer see the forest for the trees. Last night, we had an offensive break-through. In fact, we saw an innovation that may revolutionize offense as we know it. The play-action fake to NO ONE may one day be considered as monumental in the evolution of football as the West-Coast Offense or the Zone-Blitz........:eek::mad:

Dead on. Even Mark May's highlighting it prompted a replay of that innovation.
