Brimah has played great tonight & it's only half time. The kid is active around the basket on both sides. Nolan himself is looking good too. I've been waiting for this...

Brimah played great tonight. This is what he can do if he plays smart. He has the length, he has the athletic ability, he has the motivation, he just needs the experience. I'm not expecting this every night, but it shows the potential. He's going to leave UConn as a lottery pick if he has more games like this.

Call out to the guys who said he should redshirt this past summer. Really?

More than 1/3 of our points tonight came from our centers. I'm not going to complain about that no matter who we're playing.

Great performance - but qual of opponent??
We beat them at their strength big time. Quality of opponent is not the issue here. This was a very athletic and great rebounding team that we humbled big time with rebounding and scoring on the interior.

Maybe I heard wrong but UCF was the leading rebounding team in The American, but we out rebounded them by 16 tonight. Their players looked muscular & athletic, but not as tall. To me, this was a solid win... We just played hard tonight. Need to do this more often...
