No offense whatsoever to his kid brother... BUT, maybe, just maybe, a QB of this caliber should seriously be considered if he decides to leave Clemson... and we should put on a full court press to get this young man on campus... Clemson has DOGS (straight DOGS) all across the board.... Bring this DOG home (if things change)

While I think you are right, what makes this one different is that some yocals say Taisun really had UConn high on his list...with a legit interest in staying home.

Now with Tyler coming here I'm not sure he would want to be competition to his brother, but maybe that wouldn't matter to him.

After a taste of P5, he probably stays in that world.
 
He could come here, and he could be the starter when we play Clemson. I bet he’d have a nice size chip on his shoulder.

It looks like Clemson is bringing in 1 QB next year and he looks to be a depth type of QB. They are targeting a stud QB in 2022. So, I think Phommachanh will be the #2 next year. And, this season doesn’t count towards a year of eligibility, so he has more time to make a transfer decision.
 
Clemson gets a stud QB every year just about. We get once in awhile guys that will probably never have the type of immediate impact their QBs have... UNLESS... we change this trend.... which we need to... probably need to bring in a few P5 level OL as well (via transfer portal... there are guys stuck behind other guys at that important spot too)...

Taisun comes, starts two-three years (which allows Tyler to really prepare) and then Tyler takes the reins boom problem solved

Or another top flight #1 QB recruit comes in and makes that plan useless. No battle plan survives contact with the enemy. He could be competing for time in defensive line rotation by senior year.
 
This is our starting QB next year.

dream on, He is aplaying behind a true freshman. Next season will be behind the next 5 star freshman at Clemson.

Never know. Zach Frazer was very highly ranked coming out of school. TP is local kid, was recruited here, family likes the staff, brother would have to like it plus a national schedule...not holding a breath though.

Different times then. P5 schools will be knocking down his door.
 
would love him to come north but have to think he would end up at a Wake Forest or a similar school if he wants.

I will add he would be welcomed with open arms in Storrs
