This is the final regular-season game for the jacks. Most of the rest of the conference for their last game on the 6th.

Earlier in the year Portland State defeated in a year in Portland by 12.

Important game for NAU for seeding.

13-7 NAU at the first media timeout. Possible player of the year Rasheed at 5:11 is guarding the 6 4 post for Portland State.

Meanwhile Montana St. is tied w/ Southern Utah at the half.

Ice cold shooting for the Jacks. 24 points in the half has to be their season low.

Vikings guard Dersirae Hansen has 19 on 4-9 from three.

Rasheed hits a three and NAU closes to within n one with 7 minutes remaining.

Hansen leads all scorers with 21.

Jacks end the regular season with their third loss in a row. 5 point loss going into the tournament.

NAU is locked in as the 5th seed and receives a bye. They will play Montana in the next round a team they've lost to twice in the regular season. Looks like Jacks will end the year at 15 - 15.

The Jacks have a nucleus of an outstanding team next year as they loss no starters. The four seniors only played sparingly.
